23 Oct 4 Wynwood Brunch Spots Not To Be Missed
ZabCab’s Favorite Brunch Places in Wynwood
Ahh, the weekend. No work and plenty of time to delve into ZabCab’s favorite hobby – brunch!
But where to go for brunch in the Wynwood neighborhood in Miami? With so many great restaurants to choose from, we chose to highlight our top 4. What do you think?
Named after the owner’s daughter, Morgan’s Restaurant boasts some of the best waffles in town. The classic waffle with sweet toppings is a well thought out rendition of a brunch favorite for generations. Then they kick it up a notch with the waffles and fried chicken sandwich, a moist and delicate tour-de-force. Then taking the sweet waffle to a new level, Morgan’s offers the “Chocolate Dipped Waffle” which comes with fresh whipped cream, strawberries and vanilla ice cream.
However, Morgan’s is not all waffles. Their well stocked menu also includes the “Voluptuous Grilled Cheese” – of which you are encouraged to ask why it is called that and the “Organic Polenta Cereal” with cream, nuts and berries.

Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill
A beautiful open space with brick walls and loft like ceilings the Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill offers an ideal setting for brunch. Offering an excellent selection of oysters and fresh shell-fish Sugarcane is run by the renowned Executive Chef and Partner Timon Balloo formerly of SUSHISAMBA and Domo Japones (voted the best Japanese restaurant in Miami in 2008).
Brunch at Sugarcane is a culinary adventure. Bacon wrapped dates are served alongside duck and waffle crispy leg confit. Not to stray from his earlier roots, Balloo offers speciality sushi rolls in addition to an expressive Robata Grill menu.
If you are looking to impress a first date or simply treat yourself to something beautiful, Sugarcane will not disappoint.

One of our favorite dishes is the veggie quiche, whose light doughy exterior comes packed with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, thyme and squash. An explosion of savory flavor! Don’t forget to order a latte to top off your meal.

Enriqueta’s Sandwich Shop
Located in a non-descript building adorned with magnificent colorful graffiti on the corner of NE 2nd avenue and NE 29th Street Enriqueta’s Sandwich Shop carries the honor of being the top ranked sandwich spot in all of Miami according to Foursquare users. After the first bite of a pan con bistec one easily sees why so many people are raving of Enriqueta’s affordable sandwiches and amazing cafe con leche.
Come to Enriqueta’s to soak in the old school atmosphere while enjoying a sopa de pollo or a plantain omelette and you will not leave unfulfilled. Make sure to try their signature cool espresso. Enriqueta’s is by far one of the more authentic breakfast locations left in Wynwood.
